Job Description

detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst (QA)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain
test plans
,
test cases
, and
test scripts
for software applications.
Perform
manual and automated testing
to ensure software quality.
Conduct
extensive database testing
, including writing and executing
SQL queries
to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like
Jira
,
Bugzilla
, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
Perform
functional, regression, integration,
and
performance testing
.
Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
1–3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
Strong understanding of
SDLC
and
STLC
(Software Development & Testing Life Cycle).
Hands-on experience in:
Manual testing
Automation testing
using tools like
Selenium
,
Cypress
, or
Appium
Database testing
using
SQL
Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as
Jira
,
Bugzilla
, or
Trello
.
Good knowledge of
Agile methodologies
(e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
.
Excellent
communication skills
and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
