Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning Support: Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6. Breakdown of work scope (WBS) for upcoming and ongoing projects. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with site engineers for regular progress updates. Follow up with procurement, estimation, and billing departments for project-related data. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Compile and analyze daily/weekly/monthly progress reports from sites. Assist in preparing DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), MIS reports, and status updates for internal and client use. Documentation & Filing: Maintain centralized project documentation (drawings, schedules, approvals, client correspondence). Ensure proper filing and version control for planning documents. Tender & Pre-Execution Support: Assist in preparing work programs, schedules, and resource histograms for new tenders. Coordinate with estimation and design teams for planning inputs. Delay & Risk Analysis: Help in identifying potential delays by comparing planned vs. actual schedules. Record and flag risks in coordination with senior engineers. Key Skills Required:Good knowledge of construction project lifecycle (especially government/defence projects) Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and basic Primavera P6 Understanding of BOQ, drawings, and construction terminology Strong documentation and coordination skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
