JOB Summary

Senior Test Engineer would be part of BACB’s Change project team to test the end-to-end payments functionality including T24, Sanctions Screening and SwiftLite. BACB is moving to a new third-party payment application from T24 FT module. Senior Test Engineer should verify the end-to-end payment flow (incoming and outgoing) starting from payment input in new application and verifying the accounting and statement entries in T24.

KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Analyse software requirements and specifications to develop detailed test cases for System Integration, Regression and User Acceptance testing.

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test data to ensure comprehensive testing coverage to make sure BAU is not affected, and the new changes are working as expected.

• Identify, document and report bugs or defects and areas of improvement to the development team with test proofs.

• Ensure that software meets all requitements and stakeholder expectations leading to a higher quality product.

• Prepare required test documentation.

• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to development teams and other stakeholders.

• Ensure that all test-related work is carried out as per the defined BACB standards and procedures.

• Trace test procedures with the help of a traceability matrix.

• Support business stakeholders during UAT testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Core Banking, Payments , Customer, Limits and accounts modules.

• Hands on experience in Temenos T24/Transact Core Banking application modules including Accounts, Customer and Funds Transfer.

• Experience in Sanctions Screening tools.

• Experience in testing Swift payments messages.

• Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs

• Strong background in software quality assurance and testing methodologies with focus on both functional and technical aspect of T24 banking application.

• Strong communication skills and familiarity with project management tools.

• Strong experience in test planning, execution and reporting for SIT and UAT phases.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrable, full end to end project lifecycle experience.

• Self-motivated to perform well and achieve goals independently, without constant external direction
