Job Title: Junior Merchandiser – Fabric & Garment Location: Solapur, sangali Experience Required: 1–3 years Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our garment business team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of fabric types , garment construction , fabric consumption , and costing . The role involves coordination with production units and travel to locations such as Sangli, Solapur , and other regions for follow-ups and quality control checks. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior merchandisers in daily merchandising activities and production follow-ups. Understand and calculate fabric consumption and costing for various garments. Coordinate with garment units and vendors for order execution, sampling, and approvals. Visit production units (e.g., Sangli, Solapur) for production monitoring , quality checks , and order follow-ups . Maintain records of samples, approvals, production status, and shipments. Communicate with suppliers and factories to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Provide support to the garment business team for smooth execution of orders. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Textiles , Fashion Technology , or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in garment merchandising or textile-related roles. Good knowledge of fabrics , garment construction , and costing . Willingness to travel to production units as required. Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic documentation. Preferred Skills: Prior experience working with garment manufacturers or export houses.
