🚨 Read This First

If you’re looking for a typical engineering job with routine tasks, zero ambiguity — this isn’t it.

But if you’re excited about building real expertise, owning your deliverables, learning U.S. energy compliance from Day 1, and being part of a startup that’s growing fast and pushing boundaries — keep reading.

This role is technical, challenging, and genuinely career-changing.

🌎 What is zHeight?

zHeight is a fast-growing, U.S.-based startup reimagining how homes in America are designed and permitted. We deliver high-quality, code-compliant residential design faster and cheaper — powered by AI workflows and a world-class team.

We’ve delivered 100+ permitted homes in California, grown 3.4x YoY, and built a team of architects, engineers, and technologists from IITs, NITs, and top institutions. We're scaling fast — and building the next generation of design and compliance talent in India.

🎯 About the Role: Junior Civil Engineer (Energy Codes & Modeling)

This is a specialized execution role within our engineering and compliance team. You’ll learn how to read, interpret, and implement California’s energy efficiency standards (Title-24) in real single-family home projects.
