Runway Media India is an Integrated Marketing Communications Agency based in Mumbai, specialising in PR, Influencer Marketing, & Brand Collaborations. The agency provides a creative and innovative environment for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact in the industry.


Role Overview


The Junior Business Development Executive will work closely with the Founder to execute all business development activities, with a strong focus on lead generation, CRM management, research, and follow-ups. The role supports the growth of business development efforts through consistent execution and collaboration.


Minimum Experience


Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Outreach

    •    Research and identify potential clients and partners using LinkedIn, industry databases, and web research.

    •    Run outbound outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn) to book qualified meetings for the Founder.

    •    Qualify leads based on fit, budget, timelines, and decision-making authority before handover.

    •    Nurture warm leads through structured follow-ups and basic information-sharing.


2. CRM & Data Management

    •    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM.

    •    Track deal stages, next steps, and follow-up dates to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

    •    Generate weekly and monthly reports on pipeline, activity, and conversion metrics.


3. Research & Intelligence

    •    Conduct market and competitor research to identify new segments, accounts, and use cases.

    •    Prepare brief notes and account summaries for the Founder before key meetings.

    •    Track industry trends and customer feedback and relay insights to the Founder and team.


4. Meeting & Follow-up Support

    •    Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, and demos for the Founder with prospects and partners.

    •    Prepare basic decks, one-pagers, and follow-up emails based on meeting notes.

    •    Support coordination for events, conferences, and networking opportunities when required.


5. Internal Coordination

    •    Work with marketing to align campaigns and messaging with BD priorities.

   •   Coordinate with operations/account management to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.


The candidate should be based in Mumbai as this is a full-time, on-site role.
