Junior Associate

Sutra Management Consultancies is an analytics-drive advisory company. The company offers consulting and project implementation services to its clients entailing big data, financial crimes, risk management, customer journey analytics, large scale data management and business intelligence related projects. Some of the prominent industries Sutra serves are - banking, non-banking financial services, retailing, food services, insurance, telecom, diversified industries and government.

The incumbent is expected to play a technology lead role in consulting engagement.

Junior Associate – (Data engineering / solution implementation)

Role Description:

• Ability to do end to end solution design and build - technical
• Work with client and teams to deliver good quality solution
• Work independently and build solutions on analytical platforms like SAS, Python, DataIKU, SPSS etc.
• Work independently to manage data platforms like SQL, Oracle, SAS and ability to develop data pipelines
• Work with the team to deliver on client engagement. Actively participate in client meetings and deliver client presentations independently to mid level management
• Use programming skills to enable solution deployments
• Problem solve technical issues with the team. For example how to define an event in a model or logic of the program that will extract the data from client system and load into the model mart

Skill Set:

Excellent problem solving and client communication / client management skills

· 2-5 years of experience (professional, full time - non internship) into hands on data management, data engineering or similar solution development area

· Prior experience in data and technology is a must. Knowledge in SAS, Python, R, DataIKU or any other analytical platform is important

· Hands on experience of working with large scale data

· Ability to work in teams

· Never say die attitude and openness to work in unstructured business environment

· Willingness to travel onsite
