Role Overview

Junior Architect

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development

• Assist in preparing concept presentations, layout plans, and 3D visualizations.

• Support the Senior Architect in developing detailed drawings, mood boards, and styling layouts.

• Create CAD drawings, joinery details, and material boards as per project needs.

• Participate in internal design discussions and brainstorming sessions.

2. Technical Drawings & Documentation

• Prepare working drawings, construction details, and site coordination drawings.

• Maintain drawing documentation with proper version control and revisions.

• Ensure drawings meet quality, accuracy, and project standards.

• Support coordination with vendors and contractors for design execution.

3. Site Coordination

• Visit sites for measurements, progress tracking, and quality checks.

• Assist in ensuring design adherence and timely completion.

• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for implementation.

• Document site photos, progress notes, and deviations, if any.

4. Vendor & Material Coordination

• Work with the procurement and styling teams to source appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture.

• Prepare BOQs and specifications for vendors.

• Support material sampling, vendor visits, and approvals.

5. Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with stylists, project managers, procurement, and QC teams.

• Ensure smooth design-to-execution transition.

• Support client presentations and design review sessions.

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong command over AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office / Google Suite.

• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior detailing.

• Excellent visualization and design sense.

• Good communication and project coordination skills.

• Balance between creativity and technical accuracy.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in architecture/interior design firms or styling-led projects.

• B.Arch or Interior Design degree from a recognized institution.

• Experience in residential, hospitality, or retail interiors preferred.
