The first 6 months will be an internship, followed by full-time confirmation based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary and in-depth research on assigned companies, sectors, portfolio stocks, and broader economic trends.
- Assist senior analysts in comprehensive company and industry analysis for HNI-focused investment strategies.
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks to support investment decisions.
- Track quarterly results, earnings announcements, corporate events, concalls, and key market developments.
- Listen to management concalls and prepare concise summaries, earnings notes, and event updates.
- Prepare high-quality research documents, including Initiating Coverage reports, sector/thematic reports, company updates, and internal presentations.
- Analyse financial statements to identify key business drivers, risks, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Benchmark companies against peers using valuation multiples, operational metrics, and industry indicators.
- Maintain and update internal databases, dashboards, sector trackers, and research repositories.
- Collaborate with company management teams and industry participants for data gathering, insights, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and well-documented research inputs for senior analysts and the investment team.
- Build detailed financial models from scratch and update them on a quarterly basis based on company results, guidance, and management commentary.
Skills Required
- Must possess fundamental knowledge of the stock market, with in-depth understanding of specified sectors, as well as proficiency in financial statements, ratios, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent writing and communication skills are pre-requisites.
- Ability to work effectively with a results-oriented focus and a highly disciplined approach to meeting objectives.
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities.
- Build detailed financial models from scratch and update them on a quarterly basis based on company results, guidance, and management commentary.
Educations Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Commerce/Economics or related field.
- Candidates pursuing or holding CFA (any level) or NISM-Series XV (Research Analyst) certification will be preferred
Additional Advantage
- Internship experience in equity research, financial analysis, investment banking, or related domain.
