Junior Accountant

Urbanspire is a growing organization in the construction and real estate industry, committed to delivering excellence and innovation. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team and support day-to-day accounting operations.

Role Overview

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions, tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in commerce and relevant accounting experience, especially in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions including purchases, sales, payments, receipts, and expense vouchers.
• Perform debtor and creditor scrutiny and maintain up-to-date account ledgers.
• Manage banking operations including bank reconciliations, cheque preparations, and online transactions.
• Handle GST, TDS calculations, and monthly filings as per statutory requirements.
• Prepare reconciliation of GSTR 2B on a monthly basis.
• Assist with project costing, material reconciliation, and sales reporting.
• Maintain petty cash and ensure accurate financial documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and tax return filing.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Pay: ₹9,361.99 - ₹27,193.62 per month
