Role Overview The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions, tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in commerce and relevant accounting experience, especially in the construction sector. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions including purchases , sales , payments , receipts , and expense vouchers. Perform debtor and creditor scrutiny and maintain up-to-date account ledgers. Manage banking operations including bank reconciliations, cheque preparations, and online transactions. Handle GST, TDS calculations, and monthly filings as per statutory requirements. Prepare reconciliation of GSTR 2B on a monthly basis. Assist with project costing, material reconciliation, and sales reporting. Maintain petty cash and ensure accurate financial documentation. Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
