Junior accountant

Tutor Cabin is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing reports, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and financial statements of Tutor Cabin.

Manage accounts receivable (student/course fees) and accounts payable (vendors, staff expenses).

Handle fee reconciliation, refunds, and payment tracking for students.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).

Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory filings are completed on time.

Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and compliance.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for business expansion.

Maintain confidentiality of company’s financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

1 year of accounting experience (preferably in education or service sector).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in Tally/QuickBooks/ERP software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
