To strengthen our Finance Team, we are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations.

Role Overview

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for recording financial transactions, maintaining proper documentation, and assisting the Finance Manager in project-wise cost tracking and GST return preparation. The role demands accuracy, timeliness, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, project-based work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record vendor invoices, purchase bills, and client receipts in the accounting system.
• Maintain project-wise expense files, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing GST working files and supporting data for return filing.
• Help prepare client invoices as per agreements and track receivables.
• Support Finance Manager in project costing, budgeting, and vendor payment schedules.
• Handle petty cash expenses and reconcile with project/site teams.
• Maintain proper documentation for vendor bills, approvals, and contracts.
• Provide data and schedules during audits or financial reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in GST Filing
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of GST concepts and accounting entries.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for preparing and filing GST returns (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Experienced in GST compliance, return filing, ITC reconciliation, and audit support.
• Maintain proper records for input/output tax and reconciliation.
• Handle GST notices and compliance queries.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for statutory requirements.
