Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking a diligent, reliable, and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Gandhinagar. In this role, you’ll support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and collaborate on reporting, compliance, and audits. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with numbers, have strong attention to detail, and are eager to grow your career in finance. Key Responsibilities Record financial transactions and maintain general ledgers Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Process incoming and outgoing invoices; ensure all billing is accurate and timely Reconcile bank statements and verify that journal entries match Support monthly and year-end closing processes Assist with budgeting, audits, and preparation of documentation Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices Help with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings Handle cash payments and petty cash reconciliations Work as a team player and support ad-hoc finance tasks as needed Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent) 1-3 years of relevant accounting / finance experience Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar) Basic knowledge of Indian accounting principles and taxation laws (GST, TDS) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity Good communication skills (written & verbal) Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance domain
