Junior Accountant

Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in month-end and year-end financial processes. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and working experience with accounting software (Tally preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update books of accounts on a daily basis in Tally / ERP software.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
• Support in monthly closing, balance sheet finalization, and audit preparation.
• Generate and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payment tracking.
• Assist the senior accountant in preparing financial reports and MIS statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in accounting (manufacturing / service sector preferred).
• Software Proficiency: Tally ERP, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, basic formulas), GST portal, etc.
• Knowledge: GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, and Basic Finalization.
• Skills: Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and good communication skills.

Employment Type: Full-time Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience)Preferred Candidates:

• Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Haridwar.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
