Junior Accountant

Location: Mananthavady, Wayanad | Full-time | Onsite

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and handling taxation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle GST, VAT, TDS, tax filing, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Ensure the timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
• Monitor expenses, budgets, and assist with financial planning.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with teams to streamline and automate financial processes.
• Work with accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, VAT, TDS, and tax filing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Prior experience with Odoo ERP will be an added advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
