Job Description:
What you will do:

  • Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Reconciliation: Assist with bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Visit banks and other NBFCs for banking-related transactions and requirements.
  • Prepare cheques/slips in order with deposit/withdrawal and any other banking transactions as may be required.
  • Invoices and Payments: Process and verify invoices, prepare payments, and handle petty cash.
  • Financial Reporting: Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate documentation for financial transactions and records.
  • Assistance: Provide support to senior accountants and the finance team with various tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Communication: Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve financial queries and issues.
  • A person should be ready to work in an ERP environment, along with implementation, migration from the old accounting system, and handling routine accounting in both the old accounting and ERP systems with necessary MIS and other responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance (including internships, part-time roles, or a fresher with relevant knowledge).
  • Managing multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
