Job Summary
The Production Supervisor – Ring Production is responsible for overseeing day-to-daymanufacturing operations of Rings, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safetynorms, and cost efficiencies are met. The role involves managing manpower, machines,materials, and methods to achieve optimal productivity and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
● Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in Ring manufacturing (casting,machining, grinding, coating, inspection, etc.).
● Ensure production targets are achieved as per production plan and schedules.
● Monitor machine performance, downtime, and productivity; initiate corrective actions.
● Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
● Implement and enforce safety procedures and 5S practices.
● Manage and motivate shop-floor operators and technicians; allocate manpower effectively.
● Ensure proper use and availability of tools, gauges, fixtures, and consumables.
● Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning departments for smooth operations.
● Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection data, and efficiency reports.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, TPM, Lean Manufacturing.
● Identify root causes of defects and process issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
● Support audits (ISO / IATF / customer audits) and ensure compliance with SOPs.
● Train operators on process parameters, work instructions, and safety practices.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong knowledge of Ring manufacturing processes and metallurgy.
● Hands-on experience with CNC / conventional machines used in Ring production.
● Ability to read engineering drawings and understand process parameters.
● Leadership and people management skills.
● Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
● Knowledge of quality tools (7 QC tools, SPC, PFMEA preferred).
● Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production reporting).
● Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
