Job Description

Job Summary The Junior Accountant will assist with financial record-keeping, reporting, and basic accounting functions. You’ll work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, support monthly closings, and help maintain financial compliance. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts) Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support the reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts Help manage accounts payable and receivable Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures Organize and file financial documents Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Tally Prime) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment Nice to Have Internship or 6–12 months experience in a finance/accounting role Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance practices What We Offer Hands-on experience with real-world financial operations Career growth opportunities in a dynamic startup environment Supportive mentorship and learning resources A collaborative and inclusive team culture
