Resident engineer will be available for any maintenance work at the Terminal/depot during the day (0800 hrs. to 1800 hrs.). Prior approval from the location in-charge will be taken for any absence from the location. However, for any continuous leave / absence for more than 3 days, suitable replacement as approved by location will be provided. 5. Following General/Routine activities will be carried out:  Establishing detailed procedures and documentation for preventive & Shutdown maintenance and preparing maintenance activity lists.  Preparing / Updating user manuals / SOP's as and when required with Revision remarks.  Ensuring adherence of proper procedures and execution of maintenance Routines.  RE will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections, system start-up, shutdown & de-bugging etc. 6. Following Documents will be maintained:  Proper maintenance of system logbooks documenting maintenance logs of the automation systems, components, and instruments etc. as per requirements of OEM’s & BPCL/IOCL/HPCL in mutually agreed formats.  Resident engineer will maintain following system related documents at site for ready reference: Complete list of Components of the Terminal automation system with detailed key specifications, P & ID diagrams viz. model no. sr. no. etc. Assembly drawings of the entire metering system clearly indicating each part name. List of spares consumed / repaired during each year to be updated after each visit. Monthly updated History sheet of critical units. Operations & Maintenance manual for all the components of metering system.
