Roles & Responsibilities – Spares Executive (Consumer Durables) Spare Parts Management: Maintain optimal inventory of spare parts to support after-sales service and repairs. Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment of fast- and slow-moving items. Order Processing: Process and coordinate spare parts orders received from service centers, dealers, and technicians. Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of spare parts to required locations. Vendor & Purchase Coordination: Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely availability of spares. Follow up on backorders, shortages, and urgent requirements. Warehouse & Inventory Control: Oversee storage, binning, and retrieval of spare parts in the warehouse. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile physical vs. system stock. System & Documentation: Update ERP/WMS systems with all spares movement – inward, outward, stock adjustment, etc. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, GRNs, dispatches, and returns. Returns & Warranty Handling: Manage return of defective or unused spares from field/service centers. Process warranty claims for failed parts as per company policy. Coordination with Service Team: Work closely with service engineers and service heads to understand spares requirement trends. Prioritize supply of critical parts for escalated service calls. MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on spares availability, consumption, returns, and shortages. Analyze consumption trends and suggest stocking strategies. Customer Focus: Ensure minimal turnaround time for spare dispatch to support customer satisfaction. Help resolve issues related to part mismatch, delay, or non-availability.
