About the Job:

We are looking to hire a skilled Network Engineer to assist our team with all IT related technical support issues. As an IT support engineer, you will be responsible to determine the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, provide effective assistance. You may also be required to install new software applications and train clients on proper application use. To ensure success as an IT support engineer, you should have in-depth knowledge of hardware systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS).
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Work within established configuration and change management
  • policies toensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the networkinfrastructure.
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunctionwith the company’s security team.
  • knowledge and practical understanding of Networking concepts OSI,
  • TCPandDNS, DHCP, IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP. Syslog and syslog servers.
  • Knowledge on network capture / analysis tools like Wireshark.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to the dynamicnature of collaborations with our teams, leaders, customers, stakeholders, vendors, and other teams, solving complex business problems together.
  • CCNA required – CCNP Route/Switch – desired.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
  • Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
  • 1 to 2 year’s experience required in switching and routing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically.
