Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Consult, seek inputs from business heads and prepares Annual Manpower budget and controls headcount movement & costs.
  • Create job descriptions in association with Hiring Managers, and identify, evaluate & executes right recruitment and selection tools, source and screen resumes, conducts interviews, negotiates, offers & onboard candidates.
  • Assist HR operations team with data/information needed for conducting employee onboarding.
  • Manages goal setting process for new joiners as well as existing employees as per defined process.
  • Maintain and share the inputs for monthly Payroll cycles.
  • Drive Mid-year review and annual PMS Cycle as per timelines.
  • Thorough knowledge of labour legislations, compliances & periodical filings of returns related to all labour laws.
  • Leads various audits including customer audits, security audits, compliances Audit, Social/ Labour audits. Identifies area of non-compliances and develop preventative & corrective action plans.
  • Consult with line management and provide regular HR guidance.
  • Partner with L&D- COEs to develop, deliver & evaluate training programs. Provide support for smooth execution of programmes ensure participation of employees in trainings & monitor their progress.
  • Exposure to working on online learning platforms (LMS Learning Management System)
  • Address employee queries and provide support for grievances related to Leaves, attendance, employee policies etc.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Assist employee Engagement team to Plan and support to execute various engagement activities end to end.
  • Support and drive HSE – Initiatives.
  • Drive the Rewards & Recognition program as per policy.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date employees’ records. Report Monthly, quarterly HR MIS/trends.
  • Assist with HR projects, new initiatives as they are announced and rolled out.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and inter-personal skills.
  • Desired competencies – Ethical Practices, Business Acumen, Relationship Management, People Advocacy, conflict resolution, critical evaluation & cultural Effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Mainly Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Exposure to plant HR operations.
