Description
Role & responsibilities Having 8+ years of IT experience on Servers, storage, Backup administration. Datacentre management, VMware 8, 7.5, Vcenter, HA, Vmotion, DRS, Hyper V. Knowledge on designing IT architecture setup for connecting multiple office locations. AD, GPO, DFS, DHCP, DNS, DHCP, Migration, Backup & Restore. File server permission assignment, quota management. Antivirus management (Sophos) and windows Patch management. Knowledge on cloud server management Storage management (Dell EMC storage is an advantage). volume creation, resizing volumes, assigning volume to data stores. Backup Management (Commvault backup solution is an advantage) and Data Replication. Design, install and configure servers, network devices and firewalls. Knowledge on incidents tickets, service requests, asset management, change management via helpdesk tool. Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat, or email.
