JIRA Administrator

**Job Description:** As a skilled and proactive JIRA Administrator, your role will involve managing, customizing, and optimizing the Atlassian JIRA environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of project management and issue tracking systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure, upgrade, and maintain JIRA software and plugins - Create and manage new and existing projects - Define and manage standardized labeling conventions, issue types, and field usage for structured data collection and reporting - Design and manage custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications - Create and maintain dashboards, filters, and reports for various teams - Provide user support and training for JIRA and related Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket) - Manage user roles, groups, and permissions to ensure secure access - Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA issues, ensuring system stability and performance - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions - Document configurations, processes, and best practices - Evaluate and implement JIRA plugins and integrations **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - 3-5 years of experience in JIRA administration - Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and supporting agile teams using JIRA - Proficiency in generating reports, dashboards, and using JQL (JIRA Query Language) - Strong understanding of JIRA APIs, webhooks, and automation rules - Deep understanding of JIRA projects, workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, and issue types - Experience with Atlassian Cloud and third-party add-ons - Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills,
