Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ITOM Developer with proven expertise in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) , particularly in Discovery and Service Mapping . The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining robust ITOM solutions that improve operational visibility and service reliability across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain ServiceNow ITOM solutions with a strong focus on Discovery and Service Mapping. Design and implement Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to capture infrastructure and application data. Build and maintain dynamic service maps for critical business services. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure accurate CI (Configuration Item) relationships. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to CMDB data accuracy and service visibility. Support the integration of various infrastructure monitoring and management tools with ServiceNow. Create and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, configurations, and training materials. Ensure CMDB health and alignment with ITIL best practices. Required Skills And Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience working with ServiceNow ITOM, specifically Discovery and Service Mapping. Strong understanding of CMDB, CI relationships, and IT infrastructure (servers, network devices, cloud services). Hands-on experience in creating and customizing patterns, probes, and sensors. Familiarity with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting. Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (preferred but not mandatory). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Event Management, Orchestration, or Cloud Management within ServiceNow. ITIL Foundation certification. Familiarity with Agile methodologies
