JIRA Administrator

As a Jira Administrator at MicroGenesis TechSoft, you will play a crucial role in managing Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Your responsibilities will include: - Administering, configuring, and maintaining Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Implementing and managing user access controls, roles, and permissions within the Atlassian suite. - Collaborating with development and project teams to gather requirements and provide solutions using Jira workflows and Confluence documentation. - Creating and maintaining custom scripts using Groovy for automation, improvements, and enhancements across the Atlassian platforms. - Developing and implementing project management features, dashboards, and reports to support various stakeholders. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, offering timely support to users. - Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate users on best practices and new features in the Atlassian tools. - Staying up-to-date with new releases and features from Atlassian to evaluate their applicability to our processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-4 years of experience in administering Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket in a corporate environment. - Proficiency in Groovy scripting for customizing and automating Atlassian products. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles. - Experience with other development tools and practices is a plus.,
