Jewellery Production Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Jewellery Production Manager with a strong background in gemstones and fine jewellery. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing production processes, dealing with vendors, and guiding workers on the use of gold and precious gemstones to ensure accurate allocation, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end jewellery production operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw materials, including gold and precious gemstones.
• Guide and supervise workers on the accurate allocation of gold and gemstones for different designs.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of material usage, wastage, and balances using Advanced Excel.
• Monitor production schedules and resolve bottlenecks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain cost efficiency by minimizing wastage of precious materials.
• Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of production.
• Liaise with the design, QC, and sales teams to align production with business needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors for smooth supply chain management.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in jewellery production management (gemstone/jewellery industry background mandatory).
• Strong understanding of gold and gemstone allocation in manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, reports).
• Excellent leadership and team-handling skills to guide workers effectively.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple production lines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of jewellery ERP/production software.
• Understanding of quality standards in jewellery making.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
