Responsibilities

Design and build applications for the WebCollaborate with cross functional teams to define design and ship new featuresUnit test code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability a Test Driven Development TDD approach is highly desirableWork on bug fixing and improving application performanceContinuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyEnsure the performance quality and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality organization and automatization

Requirements

Excellent English communication skills both written and verbalProven working experience in software development and in particular Web developmentHave published one or more Web App or have relevant public GitHub projectsA deep familiarity Web development particularly browser compatibility CORS and databindingExperience with using third party libraries and APIsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back end servicesWorking knowledge of the general browser landscape architectures trends and emerging technologiesSolid understanding of the full software development life cycleExperience with offline storage cookie handling and performance tuningKnowledge of other web technologies and UI UX standardsKnack for benchmarking optimization and delivering a fluid UI which scales well and looks great across a range of devicesProficient understanding of GIT Webpack Vite Grunt and Jira ConfluenceFamiliarity with continuous integrationPrevious experience writing unit tests and testable code in a TDD manner Familiar with Web unit functional test frameworks including WebdriverIO and Jasmine
