Job Title: Senior Java Developer Experience: 6–10 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our remote engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 6–10 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade applications using Java and related frameworks , with a strong understanding of backend architecture, RESTful APIs, databases, and modern development practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java (8 or above) . Build and integrate RESTful APIs , microservices, and web applications. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Optimize application performance, ensure scalability, and maintain system reliability. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews , unit/integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Document technical specifications, architecture, and development processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field. 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Java development . Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA . Strong experience in building and consuming REST APIs and microservices architecture . Solid understanding of OOP , design patterns, and data structures/algorithms . Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). Experience with Maven/Gradle , Git , and build tools. Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. Exposure to Agile methodologies , JIRA , and collaborative tools. Preferred Skills: Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ. Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT). Experience with DevOps and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana). Basic frontend understanding (Angular/React) is a plus. Show more Show less
