About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in building cloud-native applications. This role will involve the entire software development lifecycle—from design, architecture, and implementation to testing, deployment, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java (Spring Boot), React/Angular, relational databases, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred), combined with modern DevOps and Agile practices.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in mentoring junior developers and influencing engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot), React/Angular, and relational databases.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Define technical solutions, integration strategies, and best-fit architectures for new projects.

Cloud & DevOps

• Develop and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Monitor and support production environments, proactively resolving performance and reliability issues.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Implement TDD, unit testing, and integration testing best practices.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using JUnit, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality guidelines, and security best practices.

Agile Collaboration

• Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.

• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement).

• Provide technical solutions to unblock the team and ensure smooth delivery.

Technical Leadership & Innovation

• Mentor junior developers and guide the team on engineering best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve delivery.

• Contribute to platform-level architecture and reusable services for cross-team consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in full-stack software development.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular.

• Experience deploying cloud-native applications on GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.).

• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of Agile, TDD, and DevOps methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to .NET Core, C#, or C++.

• Strong understanding of platform engineering, shared services, and reusable components.

• Experience with event-driven architecture or data streaming technologies.

• Background in product strategy, risk management, and cross-functional decision-making.

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Preferred: Certifications in Cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure) or Full-Stack Development.
