Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are high-volume and low-latency, delivering high availability and performance. If you are passionate about leveraging Java for backend development and want to contribute to an industry-leading technology platform, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain Java applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability and performance. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting them for architectural review. Required Skills and Qualifications : Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design. Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems. Experience with Spring Boot and other Java frameworks for creating RESTful APIs and microservices. Database knowledge: Familiarity with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Experience with version control (e.g., Git). Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus if you have exposure to frontend frameworks like Angular or React). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Good understanding of code versioning tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Docker. Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially Scrum or Kanban. Exposure to frontend technologies is a plus but not required.
