About The Opportunity

Operating in the Enterprise Software Development & IT Services sector, this team builds scalable, cloud-ready Java backend systems and APIs that power mission-critical applications across finance, e-commerce and SaaS domains. The role is on-site in India and is ideal for engineers who enjoy designing resilient microservices, optimizing performance, and shipping production-grade software.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs and integrate with relational databases using Hibernate/JPA.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain high unit-test coverage with JUnit/TestNG and mocking frameworks.
• Participate in API design reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning to meet SLAs and throughput goals.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Document designs, maintain technical runbooks, and mentor junior engineers on engineering best practices.
