Java Developer

Role Overview: As a Java Developer at UST, you will be responsible for building scalable and robust web applications to support the launch and enhancement of new and existing products. Your role will require you to have a deep understanding of software architecture, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in software development from design to deployment. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with software development methodologies and be comfortable working in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular 8+. - Implement and manage microservices architectures, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability. - Develop and expose RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with other services and platforms. - Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS for deploying and managing applications. - Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software web development. - Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability and team-building skills. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
