Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing and building scalable backend systems and microservices, collaborating across teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java SE/EE and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications.
• Develop robust data access layers using JPA/Hibernate.
• Ensure backend systems meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Work closely with frontend, QA, and product teams in an Agile development setup.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong command over Java SE/EE and Spring Boot.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Experience using version control systems like Git and working with CI/CD pipelines.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Background in financial services or capital markets domain.
