About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team(IoT domain). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot, SQL databases, and AWS services. As a technical leader, you will guide the backend development team, implement DevOps best practices, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop: Architect and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot).

Microservices & APIs: Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.

Database Management: Design and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and implement efficient data models.

Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and API Gateway.

CI/CD & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve backend performance and scalability.

Security & Compliance: Ensure best practices for security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and IAM roles.

Required Skills

✅ DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

✅ AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, API Gateway, CloudWatch)

✅ Messaging Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, MQTT)

✅ Testing (JUnit, Mockito, Integration Testing)

✅ Logging & Monitoring (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with IoT domain

Work experiance in Startups

Experience in event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

Exposure to serverless architectures
