Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain JasperReports, sub-reports, and dashboards using modern JasperReports features.
• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into precise technical specifications.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to support reporting needs.
• Integrate JasperReports with Java applications and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure reports are accurate, efficient, and visually clear.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance, data accuracy, and formatting.
• Work closely with business analysts, DBAs, and application developers to deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for report designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest BI and reporting trends to recommend improvements and leverage new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in JasperReports development, including designing and customizing reports.
• Hands-on experience with JasperReports v8.2 or above is essential.
• Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
• Expertise with JasperSoft Studio v8.2 or above.
• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE for report integration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
