Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead for our HRSS project who will play a key role in driving service excellence and team performance. The ideal candidate will have strong bilingual skills in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher), proven leadership experience, and a background in HR processes. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure seamless client communication, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional HR services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of HRSS professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
Act as the primary liaison for client communication, managing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Use Japanese language proficiency to enable smooth communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance service quality.
Track and monitor team performance metrics, implementing strategies to achieve productivity and quality goals.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to strengthen service offerings.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Japanese language-related roles.
JLPT N2 certification (or higher) is mandatory.
Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to interact effectively across cultures.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience, demonstrating strong people management skills.
Knowledge of HR processes, systems, or shared services is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining high quality standards.
