Job Description

Job Summary:

The IT Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to casino staff and systems, including hardware, software, networking, surveillance, gaming systems, and office IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of IT systems critical to casino operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to all casino operations including gaming, surveillance, hotel management systems, POS, and back-office equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and network devices.
  • Maintain and support casino-specific systems such as slot management systems, table game management systems, CCTV servers, access control systems, and player tracking systems.
  • Ensure uptime and stability of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls).
  • Perform routine server and system maintenance including data backup and antivirus updates.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and software patches.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware repair, system upgrades, and new installations.
  • Document technical processes, create user manuals and training guides.
  • Support IT asset inventory and procurement.
  • Ensure all IT activities adhere to casino regulations and IT security policies.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and system enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support or similar role (experience in gaming/casino industry preferred).
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, Windows and Linux OS, network protocols, and Active Directory.
  • Experience managing POS systems, hotel PMS, surveillance systems, or casino management software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL process framework and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of data security and backup solutions.

  • Team player with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong understanding of network security, system configuration, and user support.
