IT Executive Team Leader India Operations

Position Summary

Based in Bangalore, India (with a preference for on-site presence and occasional travel), the IT Executive Team Leader India Operations will lead our growing India-based IT function. Reporting jointly to the Vice President Infrastructure / Cyber (U.S.-based) and the India Country Leader, this individual will oversee a broad range of IT functions including Oracle ERP and enterprise systems support, CRM and logistics platform integration, master data management, end-user support operations, and basic infrastructure/security oversight. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges day-to-day execution with global digital transformation goals, ensuring smooth operational alignment between the India team and U.S. business units.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy


  • Lead and manage the India-based IT team, driving performance, team development, and goal alignment.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the India GCC and U.S.-based IT leadership to ensure clarity of objectives and seamless communication.

  • Champion a culture of accountability, consistency, and execution.


Enterprise Systems Implementation & Support


  • Lead and support implementation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise platforms including Oracle Fusion (ERP, SCM, EPM, FDI, etc.), CRM, Route Accounting Software, etc.

  • Serve as the India point-of-contact for ERP and CRM escalations, change requests, and vendor collaboration.

  • Ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and global deployments in coordination with U.S. IT leadership.


Master Data Management


  • Execute master data governance processes related to customers, vendors, items, and pricing.

  • Monitor data quality, consistency, and synchronization across systems and business units.

  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to uphold global data standards and controls.


Help Desk & Support Leadership


  • Lead the India-based IT support team to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support, including off-hours support aligned with U.S. time zones.

  • Oversee ticketing systems, asset lifecycle management, user onboarding/offboarding, and access controls.

  • Drive service delivery excellence through ITIL-aligned practices, documented SOPs, and measurable SLAs.


Networking & Security Oversight


  • Manage daily IT operations for local infrastructure including VPNs, LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.

  • Coordinate with the global IT security team to ensure compliance with standards including MFA, endpoint protection, and patch management.

  • Oversee user provisioning and basic administration of Microsoft 365 and associated cloud services.


Project & Vendor Coordination


  • Support execution of technology projects such as system upgrades, hardware rollouts, or office expansions.

  • Act as the local liaison for vendor selection, contract management, and performance monitoring of IT service providers.

  • Oversee procurement, renewal, and compliance of software licenses and subscriptions in coordination with global IT governance.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of software assets, usage, and entitlements to avoid audit or compliance risks.


Experience Requirements


  • 10 15 years of total IT experience with at least 3 5 years in a leadership role managing IT teams.

  • Proven experience implementing or supporting Oracle Fusion (ERP, SCM, EPM, FDI, etc.), CRM, Route Accounting Software, etc.

  • Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance processes.

  • Hands-on leadership of IT helps desk teams, with familiarity in ticketing systems and SLA management.

  • Working knowledge of networking, endpoint management, and basic cybersecurity practices.

  • Experience collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders or international teams is highly desirable.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • Relevant certifications are a strong plus:

  • Oracle Cloud / EBS

  • CRM Admin

  • ITIL Foundations

  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+ or Microsoft 365 Administration
