Job Description

Industry & Sector:

IT Services & Software Exports — delivering enterprise software development, managed IT services and technical support to global customers. This is an on-site, India-based role supporting office infrastructure, end-user computing and client environments.

Primary title (high-performing):

IT Support EngineerRole & Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals; troubleshoot hardware and OS-level faults to resolution.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory, user accounts, group policies and access permissions.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD user provisioning, mailbox support, Teams and OneDrive troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN), including DNS and DHCP-related incidents; coordinate with network teams for escalations.
  • Own helpdesk workflows: triage tickets, prioritise SLAs, document steps and follow up until closure using the ticketing system.
  • Perform endpoint imaging, patch management and antivirus checks; assist with asset inventory, backups and basic server support.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in an on-site IT support or systems administration role; comfortable working Monday–Friday in an India office location.
  • Strong documentation discipline, ability to escalate effectively and work with cross-functional teams.
