Core Roles and Responsibilities of Tendering & Contracts : Should be able to quantify the interior layout, software Auto cad, Revit, MS Excel ( must know Formulas and linking), 1. Pre-Tender Stage (Strategy & Planning) Market Analysis: Lead research on client needs, competitor landscape, and market conditions to inform bid strategy. Go/No-Go Decisions: Act as a key contributor or lead in the decision-making process on whether to pursue a tender, evaluating strategic fit, win probability, and resource requirements. Bid Planning & Strategy Development: Develop the overall bid plan, timeline, and win strategy. Lead kick-off meetings to align the bid team (technical, legal, and finance) on the strategy. Client Engagement: Proactively build and manage relationships with key client contacts before the tender is issued to better understand their drivers. 2. Tender Preparation & Submission End-to-End Bid Management: Take full ownership of the entire tender process from receipt of documents to submission, coordinating all internal and external contributors. Complex Proposal Writing: Draft and review non-technical sections of the proposal (e.g., executive summaries, methodology, quality plans, CVs) with a focus on compelling value propositions and compliance. Pricing Strategy: Lead the development of complex commercial proposals and pricing models. Work closely with finance and estimators to ensure costs are accurate, competitive, and profitable. Dispute Resolution: Identify potential disputes early and work with project teams and legal counsel to resolve them through negotiation, mediation, or other formal mechanisms.
