Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT, CCTV & VoIP Support Engineer to join our team. This entry level/associate role is ideal for candidates with basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, CCTV, and VoIP solutions who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to maintaining secure and reliable infrastructure.

CCTV Support & Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP/Analog CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems
  • Monitor camera feeds, perform regular health checks, and ensure optimal uptime
  • Assist with video backup, retrieval, and storage management
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement/repair when needed

IT & Network Support

  • Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/Linux) and applications
  • Perform routine maintenance of LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points
  • Support user account management, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks
  • Perform network monitoring, bandwidth usage checks, and assist in firewall/router configuration

VoIP Support

  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for IP phones, softphones, and PBX systems
  • Configure VoIP endpoints (SIP phones, gateways, headsets) and assist with call flow setup
  • Monitor call quality (QoS, latency, jitter, packet loss) and escalate network-related VoIP issues
  • Support users with call registration, voicemail setup, and extension management
  • Document VoIP issues (e.g., one-way audio, call drops, registration failures) and escalate to senior team when required

Documentation & Monitoring

  • Maintain logs of IT, VoIP, and CCTV issues along with resolutions
  • Update asset inventory for IT, CCTV, and VoIP equipment
  • Prepare basic reports on uptime, call quality, and incident tracking

User Support

  • Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to staff
  • Train end-users on basic IT, CCTV, and VoIP usage

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field

Basic knowledge of:

  • Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, NAT, VPN)
  • Windows/Linux operating systems
  • CCTV systems (IP, Analog, DVR, NVR)
  • VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and IP PBX basics
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk systems (preferred but not mandatory)
