Technical Proficiencies:
Networking:
Proficient with basic network commands for troubleshooting desktop and laptop connectivity issues.
Server Management:
Strong command-line skills across various operating systems.
Understanding of virtualization technologies, OS installation (client/server), workgroup, and domain configurations.
Experienced in system support tasks such as OS installation, user-level command execution, and local user/group management.
Skilled in software and basic patch installation.
Storage & Backup:
Ability to monitor enterprise storage and backup solutions.
Skilled in monitoring tools for storage and backup environments.
Proficient in using ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
Database:
Capable of writing or modifying SQL queries to meet business needs.
Understanding of data modeling and the distinction between OLTP and data warehouse environments.
Familiar with storage hardware, management techniques, and related software.
Ability to optimize table structures to reduce storage usage.
End-User Computing:
Confident in handling end-user calls and managing service requests via ticketing tools.
Proficient in Active Directory (AD) and antivirus management.
