Job Description

Role Overview: You will be expected to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with customers. Your analytical ability will be put to the test as you assess and understand complex customer issues within a broader context. It is crucial that you are proficient in adhering to standard operating procedures and escalating incidents within defined service level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrating proficiency with basic network commands for troubleshooting desktop and laptop connectivity issues. - Utilizing strong command-line skills across various operating systems for effective server management. - Understanding virtualization technologies, OS installation, workgroup, and domain configurations. - Performing system support tasks such as OS installation, user-level command execution, and local user/group management. - Monitoring enterprise storage and backup solutions and utilizing monitoring tools for storage and backup environments. - Writing or modifying SQL queries to meet business needs and understanding data modeling and the distinction between OLTP and data warehouse environments. - Handling end-user calls and managing service requests via ticketing tools, and possessing strong troubleshooting capabilities for a wide range of end-user issues. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in IT service analysis and experience with ServiceNow. - Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and antivirus management.
