We are on the lookout for passionate and energetic Sales Interns who are eager to learn and grow in the IT sales and business development domain.


Role Overview:

As an IT Sales Intern, you will work closely with the business development and marketing team to understand market needs, generate leads, assist in client interactions, and support sales campaigns. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in IT sales and business development in a real-world tech environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in lead generation through LinkedIn, email marketing, cold calls, and online platforms.


  • Understand and present the company’s IT services and solutions to potential leads.


  • Support in creating sales pitches, proposals, and client follow-up communications.


  • Conduct market research to identify potential industries, clients, and trends.


  • Schedule and participate in client meetings, note key points, and share updates.


  • Maintain records in CRM tools and report daily/weekly activities to the manager.


  • Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, email outreach, and social media promotions.



Learning Opportunities:

  • Exposure to B2B IT Sales processes and client handling.


  • Understanding of software solutions like Web/Mobile Development, AI tools, CRM/ERP.



  • Training on CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and proposal writing.



  • Experience working with cross-functional tech and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing/completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Eagerness to learn sales strategies and client engagement techniques.


  • Good command of English (written and verbal).


  • Basic knowledge of IT and software services is a plus.


  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and CRM tools is an advantage.


  • Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have their own laptop.



Nice to Have:

  • Previous internship or campus activity in marketing/sales.


  • Knowledge of freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, etc.



  • Awareness of tech trends and startups.



Work Mode:

  • Hybrid: Preferable for candidates located in or near Bhubaneswar.



  • Remote: Open for skilled and self-driven candidates.
