Position Overview

Senior Sales Executive (Software Sales)

5+ years of IT/software sales experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and generate qualified leads specifically in the IT/software domain.
  • Conduct client meetings, demos, and presentations to showcase the value of our software solutions.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle – from lead generation to negotiation, closing deals, and account management.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand client base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven IT/software sales experience

    (mandatory).
  • Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding software sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (English & Hindi).
  • In-depth knowledge of software solutions, SaaS, ERP, CRM, POS, or related IT applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation and result orientation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client acquisition and business development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology

  • MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred).
