Job Summary:


Markovate is seeking a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 1–2 years of experience exclusively engaging US-based clients in the IT services or digital product space. This role is focused on generating qualified leads, setting appointments, contributing to closures, and supporting the pre-sales process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Engage and qualify inbound and outbound leads from the US market.
  • Consistently set up client meetings and product/service demos with decision-makers.
  • Work closely with the BA, pre-sales teams, and internal stakeholders to develop proposals and pitch decks.
  • Assist in closing the deal from start to finish.
  • Identify client needs and align them with Markovate's offerings (Gen AI, PoC, Pilot, software development, digital transformation, etc.).
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM tools and timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging based on market response.
  • Help transition leads smoothly to the closing team and support during negotiation if required.


Requirements:


  • 1–2 years of proven experience in IT Sales / SDR roles targeting US clients only.
  • Strong track record in lead generation, appointment setting, and client engagement.
  • Experience in pre-sales support, including proposal writing and discovery calls.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and outbound sales tools.
  • Ability to understand technical offerings and translate them into business value.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit targets consistently.


Preferred Skills:


  • Background in selling custom software development with a focus on AI/ML services.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
