Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for an IT Operations & Security Manager which involves run and improve Brightstone's internal IT systems, tools, and security. This includes cloud services, internal applications, devices, and vendor coordination.

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to run and improve Brightstone's internal IT systems, tools, and security. This includes cloud services, internal applications, devices, and vendor coordination. Your main focus will be IT operations, internal tools, security processes, and helping the team work efficiently. Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, low-code tools, scripting, and IT security best practices is important. You will also work with external security vendors and help shape our IT strategy. The role is fully remote with occasional meetups.

• Manage internal IT infrastructure (Azure, M365, networking, devices)Build internal tools using low-code platforms or custom scriptsWork with external security vendors on protection and monitoringProvide IT support and manage onboarding/offboardingAutomate routine IT tasks to improve efficiencyEnsure compliance with standards like SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001Manage IT and security vendorsMonitor systems, handle incidents, and perform root-cause analysisMaintain IT documentation and train employeesContribute to long-term IT planning and improvements

• Strong IT operations background across cloud, devices, and networksExperience with internal tools (Power Platform, scripting, Python, PowerShell)Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure Monitor, and M365 adminUnderstanding of IT security basics (IAM, encryption, endpoint protection)Experience working with vendors and external IT partnersAbility to automate routine tasks

• Manage and improve internal IT infrastructure and systemsEnsure security and compliance with industry standardsBuild and automate internal tools to improve efficiencyCoordinate with external security vendors and IT partners

• IT Infrastructure: Well-managed Azure and M365 environments with reliable networking and devicesInternal Tools: Custom tools and automation using Power Platform, Python, or PowerShellSecurity Framework: Compliance with SOC2, GDPR, and ISO 27001 standardsVendor Management: Effective coordination with external security and IT vendorsIT Documentation: Comprehensive documentation and employee training programs

• Manage IT operations, internal tools, and security processesWork with external security vendors and IT partnersProvide IT support and manage employee onboarding/offboardingFull remote work with occasional meetups
