Job Overview

Maskoid Technologies is seeking a multi-skilled IT Network & Hardware Administrator to manage the company’s complete IT environment. This role includes office IT support, system and network administration, hardware management, hosting and website deployment, server monitoring, and basic Python automation. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day technical issues while also managing advanced infrastructure and server tasks independently.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Office IT Support (Daily Activities)

  • Resolve employee IT issues such as system slowness, keyboard/mouse failures, monitor issues, and sound problems.
  • Install and configure operating systems, office applications, security tools, and required software.
  • Maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and all peripheral devices.
  • Ensure all office IT systems are functioning smoothly and securely.
  • Maintain stock of IT accessories and hardware components.

2. System & Network Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
  • Manage and configure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user accounts.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and NAS devices.
  • Resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, and Internet-related issues efficiently.
  • Perform operating system updates, patches, driver installations, and firmware upgrades.

3. Website Hosting, Deployment & Server Management

  • Deploy websites on cPanel, Plesk, VPS, or cloud hosting environments.
  • Manage and configure DNS records including A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, and DKIM.
  • Perform website and server migrations.
  • Install and renew SSL certificates.
  • Troubleshoot server-related issues such as high CPU/RAM usage, HTTP 500/503 errors, database errors, and email deliverability issues.
  • Maintain backups of hosting accounts, databases, and website files.
  • Monitor website uptime and server performance.

4. System Monitoring, Performance & Uptime

  • Perform daily server and system health checks.
  • Monitor server load, storage usage, and network performance.
  • Ensure high system uptime and reliability for internal tools and services.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.

5. Backup, Security & Compliance

  • Manage daily and weekly backups of systems, servers, and data.
  • Perform restoration tests periodically to ensure data integrity.
  • Implement endpoint protection, antivirus policies, and IT security controls.
  • Manage access control and password management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and operational standards.

6. Domain, SSL & Documentation

  • Manage domain purchases, renewals, DNS updates, and transfers.
  • Handle SSL installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain IT documentation including SOPs, network diagrams, login information, and DNS documentation.

7. Vendor & Outsourced Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate with hosting service providers, cloud vendors, and IT suppliers.
  • Manage AMC agreements, warranty claims, and support escalations.
  • Handle renewal of software licenses and related services.

8. Automation & Scripting (Python)

  • Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive IT tasks such as log monitoring, system checks, and backup validation.
  • Create automation tools for deployment, reporting, and monitoring tasks.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation scripts used by the IT team.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong desktop and laptop troubleshooting expertise.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux server administration.
  • Knowledge of hosting platforms such as cPanel, Plesk, VPS, and cloud hosting.
  • Experience in website deployment and migration.
  • Proficient in DNS management including A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and SRV records.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, subnetting, and firewall rules.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of firewall and VPN configurations.
  • Familiarity with backup tools and endpoint security solutions.
  • Basic experience with Python for automation tasks.

Experience
